Henri Collet (French: [kɔlɛ]; November 5, 1885 – November 23, 1951) was a French composer and music critic who lived in Paris. Today his music is seldom performed and he is best remembered for his 1920 article in Comoedia in which he coined the term Groupe des six to designate a young group of musicians at the Conservatoire de Paris which included Francis Poulenc and Darius Milhaud.

  • Henri Collet (Paris 5 novembre 1885 - Paris 23 novembre 1951) était un professeur de littérature espagnole au lycée Janson-de-Sailly, compositeur et critique musical français. Sa musique, influencée par celles d'Albeniz et de Falla est tellement inspirée par la culture hispanique (castillane et andalouse notamment), que ses commentateurs le traitent plutôt comme un musicien espagnol de nationalité française. Il a apporté beaucoup au dialogue entre les deux cultures française et espagnole. Un timbre à son effigie a été édité par la Poste française. Un jardin public porte son nom à la Baule-Escoublac (Loire-Atlantique) où il avait une villa. (fr)

Музыкальные произведения Колле насыщены испанскими фольклорными мотивами, превосходя в этом отношении даже творчество современников-испанцев — таких, как Исаак Альбенис или Мануэль де Фалья. (ru)
