Michel Chapuis (French pronunciation: [miʃɛl ʃapɥi]) (born 15 January 1930) is a French classical organist and pedagogue. He is especially known as an interpreter of the French and the German Baroque masters and he is dedicated to historically informed performances. He has performed every surviving piece of French organ music from the 17th and 18th centuries on the Cliquot organ of St. Nicolas des Champs. Michel Chapuis has been in the forefront in France in his efforts to restore and build organs.
