  • Thomas Frederick Dunhill (* 1. Februar 1877 in Hampstead; † 13. März 1946 in Scunthorpe) war ein englischer Komponist. Dunhill studierte am Royal College of Music von 1893 bis 1897 Komposition und Klavier. Von 1899 bis 1908 unterrichtete er an Eton College und gleichzeitig am Royal College of Music Harmonielehre und Kontrapunkt.Zwischen 1907 und 1919 veranstaltete er in London zahlreiche Konzerte, bei denen Werke junger britischer Komponisten aufgeführt wurden. Seit 1942 war er Professor am Royal College of Music. (de)

Dunhill’s carrière in de muziek begon toen hij in 1893 ging studeren aan het Royal College of Music, Londen; piano bij Franklin Taylor en compositie bij Sir Charles Villiers Stanford. Hij werd later muziekdocent aan het Eton College (1899-1908) en vanaf 1905 was hij muziekprofessor aan het RCM. (nl)
