Gordon MacRae (March 12, 1921 – January 24, 1986) was an American actor and singer, best known for his appearances in the film versions of two Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals, Oklahoma! (1955) and Carousel (1956), and playing Bill Sherman in On Moonlight Bay (1951) and By The Light of the Silvery Moon (1953).

  • Albert Gordon MacRae (* 12. März 1921 in East Orange/New Jersey; † 24. Januar 1986 in Lincoln/Nebraska) war ein US-amerikanischer Sänger und Schauspieler. MacRae war in seiner Highschoolzeit als Sänger und Schauspieler im Dramaklub seiner Schule aktiv und lernte Klavier, Klarinette und Saxophon zu spielen. Neunzehnjährig nahm er an einem Gesangswettbewerb teil und gewann ein zweiwöchiges Engagement beim The World's Fair in New York, wo er mit den Bands von Harry James und Les Brown auftrat. Von 1940 bis 1942 war er Sänger in Horace Heidts Band. Es folgte eine zweijährige Dienstzeit als Navigator beim Army Air Corps. (de)
