Barbara Hesse-Bukowska (8 February 1930 in Łódź – 9 December 2013) was a Polish pianist. Her family had a long-standing musical history, as her father was a violinist and conductor, her mother was a pianist and teacher, and her grandfather was a piano tuner. Her mother was her first teacher. Her subsequent teachers included Czesław Aniołkiewicz and, at the Warsaw Conservatory, Maria Glińska-Wąsowska.

  • バルバラ・ヘッセ＝ブコフスカ (Barbara Hesse-Bukowska 1930年2月8日ウッチ生 -）はポーランドのピアニスト。ワルシャワの国立音楽大学を1949年6月に卒業し、数ヶ月後に戦後初のショパン・コンクールに出場し、2位を受賞した。4年後パリに行き、アルトゥール・ルービンシュタインの下で演奏を完成させた。1962年にはハリエット・コーエン基金のピアノ・メダルを受賞した。1963年からはヴロツワフの国立音楽アカデミーで教えながら、大陸を股にかけた精力的な演奏活動を行った。 1972年以来フレデリック・ショパン音楽アカデミーの教授を務めている。 (ja)
