Noel Paul Stookey (born December 30, 1937) is an American singer-songwriter, known as Paul in the folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary. He took the stage name "Paul" as part of the trio Peter, Paul and Mary, but he has been known as Noel (his first name) otherwise, throughout his life. Since the death of Mary Travers, he has continued to work as a solo singer and activist.

Die beiden anderen Mitglieder des Trios waren Peter Yarrow und bis zu ihrem Tod im Jahre 2009 Mary Travers. Nach der (vorläufigen) Auflösung der Gruppe 1970 war er als Solo-Musiker aktiv. Am bekanntesten ist The Wedding Song (There is Love), den er für die Hochzeit von Peter Yarrow schrieb. Die Texte seiner Lieder handeln meist von christlichen und sozialen Themen.
