Marcel Dadi (20 August 1951 – 17 July 1996) was a Tunisian-born Jewish French guitarist known for his finger-picking style which faithfully recreated the instrumental styles of American guitarists such as Chet Atkins, Merle Travis and Jerry Reed. He became a personal friend of country star Chet Atkins. Marcel Dadi immigrated to Eilat (Israel) on the Red Sea, in 1983, and lived there with his wife and newborn son for several years before moving back to France. In 1988, Eric Clapton, his longtime family friend, came to Eilat to visit Marcel Dadi.

Il meurt accidentellement le 17 juillet 1996 lors du crash du vol TWA 800 peu après son départ de New York. Outre ses albums, Marcel Dadi a contribué à faire connaître les techniques de guitare « picking » en France en transcrivant et publiant des morceaux et des arrangements de Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, Doc Watson, Antônio Carlos Jobim , etc. Il a également souvent composé pour ses amis, par exemple Roger Chesterfield pour Roger C.
