Daniel Guilet (January 10, 1899 – October 14, 1990) was a French, and later, American, classical violinist, best known for being the founding member of the Beaux Arts Trio. He was born at Rostov-on-Don in the Russian Empire and raised in Paris, where his family moved when he was less than a year old. His original surname was Guilevitch (Russian: Гилевич), which he changed when he went to the USA. His teachers at the Conservatoire de Paris included George Enescu and Guillaume Rémy. He played in the Calvet String Quartet and as a soloist, and toured France with Maurice Ravel playing his accompaniments.
